Litigation
The attorneys at Fleming Stage have impressive litigation experience. Our attorneys are positioned to effectively and efficiently represent clients in a number of business disputes. Our goal is to find businesslike solutions before going to court. When negotiations fail, our attorneys know their way around the courtroom. The depth of our experience allows our attorneys to evaluate a case and decide on a course of action that best meets our clients’ real world objectives.
Our attorneys can assist clients with enforcement or appellate actions involving administrative agencies at the local, state, and federal levels. Practicing before administrative agencies can require a combination of regulatory, negotiating and litigation skills. Fleming Stage offers all of these skills. We have attorneys who worked at regulatory agencies and can provide the perspective of former regulators to our clients. Our attorneys have appeared in front of various regulatory agencies, including various states’ civil rights agencies, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commissions in Kentucky, Wisconsin, and Michigan, the Indiana Gaming Commission, the Internal Revenue Service, the Indiana Department of Revenue, the Indiana Department of Administration, the Indiana Department of Transportation, the Kentucky Division of Securities, and the various agencies that certify minority, women and disadvantaged business enterprises.
Our attorneys have more than 20 years of diverse litigation experience. We have litigated countless business disputes, general business litigation, commercial transactions, regulatory enforcement actions, real estate transactions, mechanic’s liens, environmental cases, toxic tort cases, products liability litigation, civil rights issues, labor and employment law cases, and personal injury defense. Our attorneys have appeared before various trial courts in Indiana and Kentucky, the Indiana Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Court of Appeals, the Kentucky Supreme Court, various federal district courts, and the Seventh Circuit Court of Appeals. We have represented clients in numerous mediations and we have several attorneys who have completed the 40 hour mediation training approved by the Indiana Supreme Court.
